Thanks for using MailChimp. We're writing to let you know that we’ve redesigned our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to make them easier to read and understand. They’re also much easier on the eyes now.
You may notice that we've added a few policies. Though very little has changed, we’ve moved our industry prohibitions, abuse restrictions, and spam rules into a separate document called the Acceptable Use Policy. And developers who use our API should check out the API Use Policy we added.
Our goal with this new content is to make our Terms clearer for you—not to make any changes to how we treat you. These policies reflect the same commitment to our customers' privacy and rights that MailChimp has always shown. You own your content, and we’ll never sell your personal information or share it in a way that’s not consistent with our Privacy Policy. That doesn't change.
Our general counsel describes this update in greater detail on the blog. And of course, we hope you'll take some time to read the policies themselves. These new Terms go into effect today, so next time you use MailChimp, you’ll be doing so under the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback about our policies, feel free to contact our legal team at
